DDC – Dock Disk Clam Shell

The new way to deploy the Dock Disk

Introducing the DDC – the Dock Disk Clam Shell

DDC (Dock Disk Clam Shell)

The DDC was developed to be a longer lasting and more durable way of deploying the Dock Disk. This hard plastic shell makes deploying, maintaining and refilling more convenient and versatile.

  • With the DDC, just pop it open and replace the Dock Disk and snap it back shut
  • Easier to use when using directly from the boat – just pull it up, slip it back in the opaque plastic bag it came in and store until you are ready to deploy again
  • The hard plastic shell more protective than the mesh bag
  • The DDC is more versatile
  • Works with both the standard and the industrial Dock Disk (IDR)

Due to the many applications in which the Dock Disk can be used, the DDC is simply a better all around way to deploy the Dock Disk. The DDC has been designed with all applications in mind but most specifically, underwater installation applications. When protecting anything that requires the Dock Disk to be deployed and maintained underwater, the DDC makes that easier with the quick snap closure/opener and the mounting points to secure not only a float device but also a way to secure it to the lake floor.

See the industrial project and the Great Lakes underwater dive site for examples of underwater deployment
